it misses and sometimes stops alto-
gether. It ‘loses power when in high!

It is just possible the magneto was.
not properly reassembled. Disconnect
from drive shaft. Turn until the ar-_
mature resists and then let go. Cir-
cuit breaker should open at this
point. See that the distributor gear
and armature gear meet at points
marked. so that brush covers a con-
tact when breaker points open. Spin
armature by hand and see if spark
comes from distributor. Then connect
to drive shaft and wire up to produce
a spark in No. 1 cylinder. exactly on
firing dead center. It is Just possible
that you have set the spark connec-
iustead of, advance.
when spark control lever is moved.
Adjust spray nozzle for best speed
with engine throttled down and then
flash trotlle open and adjust air valve
so that no popping occurs in carbur-
etor. Check valve timing and valve
clearance Also make sure there are
no air leaks in carburetor manifold

pression is good in each cylinder when
engine in heated.
