is payable to minister during his life-

prior death.
The plan of which this annuity is
minister to become a member or an"
annuity fund by paying annual dues
or six per cent. of his salary. Should
a minister having a salary of 82.000
take out a membership at the age of
thirty. the accumulation when he was
sixty-live would provide an annuity of
about 31.030.
Further indication of an apparently
general awakening of responsibility to
age’d ministers in the report of the
Methodist (northern) that their dis-"
tributive income for conference claim-
ants was 82.350.000. {our times as
much as in 1908. and that a perma-
nent fund of 810.000.000 is sought.

ported by various denominations.
