Popular Pastor
In honor of his tenth anniversary as
pastor of the Normal}; Congregational
church. a reception of spcrzal moment
was extended to Dr. Ernest P. Mc-
Grt-gor. last night. at the pa rish house
of the church. The gathering was at-
tended by more than one hundred
members of the parish who paid hom-
age to Dr. McGrcgor and Mrs. McGre-
gor. who. during the years they have
lived in Norwalk. have gained the love
and respect of those with whom they
come in contact.
The feature of the gathering was
the presentation of a puise of gold to
Dr. McGregor. The purse contained
3M) and was raised by voluntary con—
tributions from members of the
church. The presentation was made
by Dr. August F. Beard. honorable
