A progressive pinochle party was
held at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
William Burkey. of 348 Ely avenue.
on Saturday evening. Cards were in—
dulged until midnight. when prizes
weer awarded. The two first were re-

Jesse Taylor. and the booby prizes
were inflicted on Frank L. Shufelt and
E. Stanley Taylor. A home-made bay-
berry candle. which was made by Mrs.

At this time the chickens began to
