ment the Ulster Cabinet was unable
to make formal reply to the Govern-
,ment. rOn this point, the text of the
communique said: ‘

An apology to Sir James Craig was
received from Mr. Lloyd George stat—
ing his inability. owing to pressure of
work/to supply detailed statements
of the proposals presented by him
yesterday. He hoped. ~however. it
would be possible for him to furnish
the Tlocument this afternoon. and. he
suggested the meeting of the- north-
ern Cabinet with him should be'de-
[erred until Friday. - .

The communique. which concluded
with Sir James’ statement that there
would be no surrender of [Sister's
right. gave a list of those whoattend-
ed' and mentioned, the fact that the
’meetlng lasted from 11 until 1
