The corner stone of the Library of
Louvain. which is to replace the bean-
tirul old structure destroyed by Ger-
mnn wantonness in 1914. has been
laid. The ceremonies were observul
on July 28. Dr. Nicholas Murray Rut-
ler laying the stone. This erremony
marks the beginning only of the
