The First district was the camping
ground of Red Men from all over the
State, Saturday night, when Cockpnoc
Tribe, No. 32, I. O. R. M., marked the
opening of a. one—night trading post.
with a State parade, in which more
than three hundred participated.
Tribes from Bridgeport, New Canaan,
Danbury, Torrington, Stamford and
Milford turned out en masse.
The parade started at 7:30 o‘clock,
in front of Red Men's Hall. It was
led by Harry Canfield, color bearer.

Ralph Stoots also on horse back, as

ate, the Red Men turning out in full
