In case your carbuflitcr drips con-
stantly and the float chamber is
flooded. inspect float and heat valve
for trouble. The float may be heavy
through having soaked up a small
quantity of gasoline. The float valve
may be worn. needing grinding. There
imay be a small pic-cc of dirt in the
'vulve which prevents it from seating.

ing the elf-starting device. On some
the sol ~starter switch is attached to
the steering post. On others it is op-
erated by a foot pedal.’ Which device
do you consider most practical? An
answer will be appreciated. E. L.
It makes little difference whether
the starting button is opnratcd with
the foot. or the hand. Both accom-
plish the same purpose—namely. to
make a proper electrical connection.
In congested districts where the car
must be left at times alone. it would
seem an advantage to have the start-
ing lever secluded as much as possi-
ble. It is a. matter of opinion, how-
ever. and should hardly influence a.
purchaser. '
