W. C. Sprague. of Moosup.,charged
with imparting cows afflicted with tu-
berculosis and with not having had the
cows examined. was fined 825 and
costs each on two counts. He had a
permit from Commissioner of Domes-
tic Animals Whittlescy to import the
cows and belicved that this was suf~
ficient. He brought the cows from
Masachusetts to Connecticut .without
having them examined before they
crossed the line. The violation was
not believed to be an intentional line.

There are also a number of. more
cases which mil come before the aft-
ernoon session 'of the court. which
opens at 2 o’clock (D. '11).

ed some fear was preying on his mind.
Questioning brought out the truth.
"The man was living in bigamy
with a woman who. by all moral laws,
was his wife because she loved him
and he loved her. The first wife hid
