Norwulk were givrn it "good old-fash-
ioned" serenade on Thursday evenirm

honor at the wedding of the couple
which took place inst week. A mis-
cellaneous shower was also tendered
the bride and many useful gifts re-
ceived by her. At tl-n o'clock the
guests sat down to n supper of sand-
wiches. baked beans. salads. cake.
fruit and coffee. The table decora-
tions Were pink and white and the
flowers used were mostly pink roses.
The wedding cake ('3) was also "done"
in pink. After supper a social time
and music was enjoyed. At 12:80 a.
m. a wheelbarrow was brought to tho
door..the bride lifted into‘ it by “will-
ins” hands and the groom made to
wheel her to their home on First
street. The guests of course accom-
panied them and many along the way
were woke from their slumbers‘by the“
din of the serenade". The groom had
an idea he could beat the guests and
soon bride. groom and wheelbarrow
went flying along Cove avenue. ‘Ail
