same. I thought also the magneto was
heat. so I switched it on the battery.

is not old. only used about 6.000 miles.

shaft and bearings and tightened up
all me crank-shaft bearing yet the

As you have disposed of the crank-
shart lllld camshaft and probably in-
spec-led the connection rods. another
thing remaining is piston .p. This
'occum when. cylindem and melons are
badly worn and can only be removed
by hlVlD' cylinders ground and new
pistons and rings tilted. Doubtless
you have cleaned t combustion
space of all carbon epsaiis. Make
sure that fly wheel is light on shaft.I

After adjusting brakes. be sure to
spin the wheels to make sure that
brakes do not bind. It is extremely
important to have brakes release
properly. otherwise they bind and
ion of power results.
Some time. while exploring the low-
er regions of the chassis. see that the
brake rods have pull springs to in-
sure full release when intended. A
hot brake will be avoided.
Remember always to apply the
brakes gently. When brakes are Jam-
med hard it puts a set-ere strain on
the tira and may cause one wheel to
loch and slide, wearing the tread at
that point. Judge your distance and
momentum and stop er using brakes
as little as possible.
It you stop’ the car on a hill it is
not rudiment to set the emerpncy
brake. mrtieularly it the car is a
heavy one. Cramp the front wheels

curb or a rock. Um front of front
