maximum temperature at New Haven
yesterday was 74. which is the highest

followed by an area. of high pressure
from the British northwest, which is
causing low temperatures between the
Rocky mountains and Mississippi riv-
cr. Freezing temperatures extend as
far south as Kansas and as far east as
Wisconsin. Local showers are report-
ed from the central and northern dis-

real name. but that it is Charles
Vaughn and that he lives on Grove

He Was drunk when arrested and
