Ridgefield. from any criminal con-
tributary negligence in connection
with the death of Stephen Bacr. 47.
of 23 York street. Baer died in the
Nor-walk hospital from injuries sus—
tained when he was-struck by an au-
tomobile operated by Wallace-Ewing
while pushing a hand—cart on Main
street.
Ewing is held by the police for
