tence. She lured Kulvlnskes to a
lonely spot in the woods near Union
City, and with Kitchen. shot and
stabbed him until nearly dead. The

The murder of Kulvtnskas was one
of the most brutal in the history of
Connecticut crime. It was alleged
that the Kritchinan woman calmly
talked to him as he lay dying. «Her

newspaper that trial was ended and
a new one ordered in New Haven.
During her incarceration. the
Krltchman woman was a model pris-
oner. She made a number of appli-
cations to the board of parlcns. but
both pardon and commutation of sen-
lcnce were refused until last May,
because of the percnliarly brutal na.
ture of the murder of Kulvlnshas.
