ious confectionery stores, along with

The road to Bridgeport, from Nor-
walk. is in good condition, except for
one very rough spot on the other side
of “'estport. and autoists from Nor-
waik meet the one and only bad spot
as they leave that small town of West-
port and start for the open territory.
The worst part of the rough road is
right at a sharp turn, and, drivers
slow their machines down till they
are harly more than creeping along,
