This Winter.
The Regent Theatre has ibooked
several important show attractions
for the coming season and in ‘a num-
lber of instances will play here those
which will later enter ‘New York .for
the season. The opening attraction
here will be offered July 29 Thurs-
day evening ' men Robert Milton will
offer a mus ‘al comedy “The. Charm
School" by Alice
Robert Milton with music from the
Den of Jerome Kern. This show will
open at the Bijou Theatre in New
York on August 2 three days after
'its premier in Norwalk. A notable
cast will be seen in' the play here.

Theatre is now like watching break-
em on the beach so far as tempera-
tures are concerned. The Palace has
just had its electric fan cooling sys-
tem overhauled and the eq‘ipment
has been augmented "by the installs

and they have been put at such points
as to make impossible draughts from
them in any part of the house. This

East Nor-walk, to run away nd make
their fortunes somewhere in 'the great
city, Was rudely shattered eaiy yester-
day morning when some cruel heart-
ed wretch phoned the police' that
there were two young boys at the
west bound South NorWalk depot who
were planning to run away. Patrol-
man Robert Gainer; went to the sta-
tion and found young Haven and Col-
lins there and brought them to police
headquarters. There they were found
to have an abundance of all sorts of
food bread, compressed barn etc.
which they were to fortify themselves
on their journey. Their parents were
notified 'and came to police headquar-
ters and took them home.
