ed for work it was denied that any
such agreement had been entered upon
and that the old prices would pre-
vail. Those who did not care to work
on that basis need not come to work
and then the “lockout" started.
Meetings are being held today with
a view to settling the dispute and the
men will report tomorrow morning
for work, as it is believed that the
'matter will be settled by them.
'Mr. Fechheimer this morning stat-
ed that there was no lockout at the
plant. but admitted that there was a
'little trouble over the bill of prices.”
