Labor party plan of operation of the
roads by officials chosen from the
ranks of employee, howover. has prov-
ed an insurmountable obstacle.
While the Labor convention fought
continued flow of oratory.
Meanwhile. in a third hall. the Sin-
gle Tax party Was framing an appeal
to Lloyd George urging that his Gov-
ernment adopt a Single 'l‘ax pollcv for
Palestine. The Single Taxers plan to
day to adopt a platform and possibly
nominate a presidential candidate. in

lying in the swamp about three weeks.
Detectives decided that the woman
had died in New York and the body
:had been taken to the swamp in an
automobile.
This morning, Wallace S. Clarke, a
resident of New Canaan, notified De-
tective Frank Verelli of the State
Police that he believed the murdered
girl was his sisterein-law who disap-
peared from her home about the time
the body was found.
Chief Eagan has ordered the exhu-
mation to be made next Friday. when
it is hoped the identity of the girl
