Vasco had been arrested on a gov-
ernor's warrant issued by Governor
Marcus H. Holcomb. by Sheriff Tay-
lor, on a charge of wife abandonment,
and the arrest took place this morning
at the C. l: K. factory whre Vasco is
employed.
On his way to Stamford in Taylor‘s
car, V'asco asked that he be allowed
to g3. some clothes at the Germania
which he ind left thew and was allow-
ed :0 do so. On his way out the door

was afraid that he would lose his bond
money of $300 which he put up for
Vasco, when the latter was arrested
