Mrs. D. E. Breinig, of Butler’s Isl-
ing. Thursday. Mrs. .Breinig had taken
her daughter Geraldine and mm
Nickerson out in a. small boat and had
anchored ofi shore and were fishing
when an oyster boat bore down upon
them and. apparently not seeing their“
boat. ran them down, upsetting me
boat and throwing Mrs. Bra-11113.21“:
the children out into the water. Hrs.
Breinig grasped Elizabeth by the hand
and endeavored to swim to the boat
which had turned over. Getalcline
was not; in sight; audit last she was
seen coming in} ‘ froln beneath the
wreckage. By that fine the boat
which was towed‘ Mind the oyster
boat. came back and helped them out
of the water. zit was evidently a. care
less thing. Mrs. Brelnlg says that
there were no persons in sight on the
oyster boat, as it came in. and 'if it
had not been for the rm that Mrs.
Breiniig is. an exam swimmer. they
would have all been drowned. The
oyster hoot was in charge of Captain
Bell and crew. ,
