fixed bv the Board at $9.000 a year
and expenses. This sum is $1,500 more
than was paid his predecessor, Charles
D. VHine. The latter will receive a,
pension of nearly $3,000.

salary is only $500 less than that, paid
the chief justice of the Connecticut Su-
