The funeral of Francis R. Bacon was
held from his late residence, in Reed
street. yesterday. only close relatives
being in attendance. Rev. J. J. Shave-
ly, pastor of the First Methodist Epiw
copal church, officiated. There were a
large number of beautiful floral trill-
utes. The pail-bearers were Maurice
H. and Clifford Nutt‘mg, and \K’illiam
.l. and H. 0. Knight, of New Haw-n.
Interment 'as in the family plot. in
Riverside cemetery.
