so many commendable features to the
story and its film presentation that is
would be difficult in a short review to
mention many of them Or say some
ilescrved things. The story itself re
quires a little stretch Of‘the imaginati
on, but that is the worse thing about
jlhe big feature. for the acting through-
“out is wonderful and never were bet-
ter photographic effects obtained in
any piece. Miss Betty 'Compson with
.Tom Meighan played the leading roles
with a finish that left nothing to bet
desired. Other 'notables of the cast
,were Joseph J. Bowling. as the Patri-
arch or “The Miracle Man" and Miss
Elinor Fair. There were at times
smiles and again at other times tears
throughout the presentation of this
'big picture and when the beautiful ('11.
'max finally came there were many ex-
pressions of just satisfaction for the
result. The Regent was taxed to capa-
‘city for yesterday's shows and prom-
ises'to be even more crowded today
‘and tomorrow when the play will be
presented for the last timwz.
