convention to aid in the reconstruction
work in France, and this is but a. pre-
liminary to a more comprehensive pro.
gram of improvement that the denomi-
nation has planned to carry out in that
country through -the aid of the 35
churches that the convention is al-
ready supporting in that country.
The Baptists arc rendering generous
assistance in rebuilding destroyed
chapels and helping impoverished
churches, and they hope to extend this
work still further as a. result of the
$100,000,000 drive which they are to
conduct in this country from April 25
to May 2 as a part of the New “’orld
