time the price has increased to $40.
Student nurses responded as strike-
brcakem. Ten “minutes after the
strike started, one nurse was on the
operating table as a surgeon per-
formed a‘ transfusion operation and
the hospital received a pint or blood
free. Two hours later the nurse was
'attending a clinic.
