wrought that it will be a surprise if it
doesn't find its way to the stage.
Miss Normand is Millie Martin. sc-
companying her father on her first rail-
road journey. 0n the same train is a
worthy young carpet layer who is flee-
ing from an imaginary crime. Armed
with a doctor's pass, he pretends to be
a physician but is terrified when ad-
dressed as "doctor."

so he hits upon the way to enlist his
professional services. Feigning tooth-
ache, she begs her stingy parents to
summon a doctor.

hunts up a hunch of crooks and asks

civil war in the aristocratic suburb
and incidentally bringing the girl and
her parents near everlasting disgrace.
