SUED FOR $5,000

this morning attached the property 01
Paul Gyalog. of Darien for $5, 000 in a
suit brought against him by his sister-
in- -.law Elizabeth Gvalog, also of
llarien. The case is scheduled to
conic before the Superior Court in
Bl 1dgep01t on Tuesday, February 4.

Mm. Gyalog. wife of the late Ste-
phcn Gyalog, alleges that at the time
of the de'cease of her husband on June
16,1911, the property of her husband
was left to her son with Paul Gyalog
as his guardian Gyalog was instruct-
ed by the terms of the will to pay Mrs
Gyalog and her son, a yearly stipend
of $2, 000. The guardian has neglected
and refused to do this and a. suit has
been brought by Mrs. Gyalog to re-
cover the money due her and her son
and asks that another guardian be ap-

1 . FATALLY SHOT

TOLEDO, 0., Jan. 15.—A jewel thief
was fatally shot. and the lives of hun-
dreds of pedestrians were endangered
in a daylight robbery in the downtown
business Section here yesterday after-
noon. W‘alking into the store of
Louis Comlossy. the bandit held up
Comlossy and a number of patrons and
demanded a tray of diamonds.

Comlossy drew a revolver,
duel ensued as the bandit
from the store. .

name Of Joseph Langbauer, thirty

to have a. physician sent to a down-
. town hotel. Police and Comlossy went,
with the physician and identified the
patient as the thief. '
