At Blots in France
November 2t, 1918
Dear lather: This is Dad's day, so
we are to write a letter to father. We
are allowed to tell where .we are and
what we are doing. To begin with, l

old city. but Very nice.
This camp is a large o'nc', it used to
be the headquarters of a French intan-
try regiment. l have been in France
about seven weeks and so fun] like. it.
i have been put. in a school to get
back my speed on the typewriter. and
expect when I am in shape will be:

duty. Now that the war is about over
I will probably be coming home. i
don't know just when. maybe a year
as all the men that have been wound-
ed and longest in France will be sent
