must be on the right job.

employment system‘ known as the U. S.
Employment Service. It’s national head-
quarters are in Washington. It has 500
branch .offices in the principal cities of the
United States. It has 20,000 U. S. Public

cruiting it helps emplpyersito secure workers
without injuring or crippling other essen-
tial. industries. It brings the man and the
job together.

QIThe U. S. Employment Service protects
labor from insincere and thoughtless appeals
made to it under the plea of patriotism. It
places men in jobs where they are most
needed to win the war. 'It urgently recom-
mends any man now employed in useful war
work to stick to his job.

{1] It asks the loyal and patriotic support of
workmen and employers to assist the gov—
ernment to place properly every man neces-
sary to bring about maximum production.
It gives a fair and square service to both.
The ‘use of this service is a‘ patriotic and
intelligent duty tqyour country.
