George M. lander-s. chairman of the
Department of Food Supply, in dis»
cussing the fair eihibits, said that in
.view of diversified agricultural re-,
quirements and possibilities in diner-
ent sections of the state, it was ob-i
viously impossible to prepare any one
”exhibit that woilld be suitable for all
fairs. Mr. Landers has surmounted
this obstacle through the support and
hearty cooperation of the county
agents, who know better than any one
else the needs of their particular
county. At each fair a representative
of the farm bureau has taken entire
charge of the “information Desk,"
which is perhaps the most important
single feature of any exhibit. This
seemed to be the only arrangement by
which it was possible to give the right
emphasis in the right community.
Special representatives report to
Chairman Lenders at the close of each
exhibition so that necessary and de—
sirable changes can be made in exhi-
