object of spreading among the peas-
ants sentiment in favor of increasing
the feeling against the German's. The
speakers urged the Siovanians to free
themselves forcibly from the German
yoke, and the chairman of the .lugos-
lav Club asked that all fight for an in-
dependent Jugoslav‘ state. The Slow
enians cheered for it and the Germans
responded with cheers for the Haps~
burgs. This led to lighting and blood-
shed.
