Hand" opens at the PalaCe Theatre to-
morrow.
Mystified at the escape oi the Hid-
den Hand, Doris and Ramsey rush
down the stairs and into the living
room. from the window they faintly
see the Hidden Hand and his hench-
man leap over the large wall which
surrounds the mansion Out on the
lawn they meet Dr Scarley. who pay
leases to have just returned from a
sick patient. The next aftErnoon.
Verda receives a note, telling her if
she wishes to receive her rightful
share in the estate to enter the en-
closed car. which is waitinu outside.
'Ten minutes later, Verda enters the
car and is driven to the den of the
Hidden Hand. She attempts to
escape 'but is caught by the false
Ramsey. who. though he looks like
Jack, is really the Hidden Hand's
lieutenant. Assured that he can
prove that she is the daughter of

to a tree outside and as the Hidden
Hand is about to grab her. she swlnzs
out and lands safely on the ground.
