H. Manning of the Bureau or Mines
today, in which he asks the co opera-
lion of automobile owners in stop

of automobiles will stop unnecessary

police knew nothing about the hap-

This morning in the Greenwich
Borough Court John Carl Hunnerler,
of New York city, was fined $25Vfor
reckless driving. .
The arrest of Huunerler arose from
an ac’cident that happened on Put's
Hill. Greenwich, at; about 8 o'clock;
this morplng, when Hunnerler attempt-
ed to drive a touring car, bearing a
New York license number plate. which ’
car, he said, was the joint property of
himself and a man named Morrow,
also of New York, between it truck be-
longing. to Barman .& Stelnbsrgc of
this city. and one of the Ward‘s Bak-
ing Company trucks that was stalled
on the‘iiill. The local truck, which;
was driven by Charles V. Stow, of
Lincoln avenue. this city, was pro-
ceeding from hte direction of New
York to this city, and was coming
down the billion the right hand side.
