Sheriif Simeon Pease yestrday sent
out notices to all deputy sheriffs and
chiefs of police of Fairfieid to be. pres
‘ent at a meeting to he held today at
1:30 o'clock at Hotel Davenport, 'Stainv
lord, for the purpose of discussing
methods at greater protection for in-
dustrial plants, bridges. railroads and
other property in the county, and to
humiliate a plan whereby, the police
