out, and gave it a good overhauling. I
did the work myself. The magneto
was taken apart and cleaned. Every-
thing looked to be in first class shape

' But on, taking her out today find she

misses explmsion. Engine seems to
Work‘ good when idle, but just as soon
as I'inorease the gas. it misses and
domettmes stops altogether, and also
it seems to lose power when in high.
Runs best in second speed. Can‘ you
tell me where to look for the trouble?
it is equipped with model L. Shebler
carburetor, and have had no trouble
before taking it apart. Kindly answer
this in next issue of your paper. I am
a constant reader and thank you in

It‘is just possible that the magneto
was not properly reassembled, so ox-
amine that first, Disconnect from
drive' shaft. Turn until the armature
resists and then let go. The circuit-
breaker should open at this point. See
that distributor gear and armature
'gear meét at points marked. so that
brush covers a contact when breaker
points open. Spin armature by band
and see if spark comes hom_distrib-
uter. Then connect to drive shaft and
wire up as directed in answer to D. T.
W. in last week's department. Adjust
spray nozzle for best speed with mot-
or throttled down, and then flash
throttle open and adjust air valve so
