Was Well Known Musician and Had
Been Viaiting in Guiltord.
NEW HAVEN. May 6.~The body
of a welhdressed man about 50 years
old was 11 and floating in the harbor
near the dot-it's here yesterday. There
was no means of making identifica-

ed at New Haven. left this city three
weeks ago for Guiltord, Conn., his old

of the best known musicians in this
city and for twenty-five years had been
prominent in conservatory of music in-
struction and concerts. He was un~
