street, will be surprised to learn of
that popular gentleman's resignation
of his position with the well—known lo~':
cal concern.

Mr. Stanley has been in the hard-1
ware business for the past seventeen
years, and has been associated with
the Norwalk ‘liardware Company for
the. last seven. He now leavesihe lo-
cal concern for other fields of broader
extent, along the same lines.

Mr. Stanley will be succeeded by
James E. Ella, a well-known Norwalk
resident, who has been associated
Milt Mr. Stanley in the company for
the past few years. Mr. Ells will take

walla, died last Saturday at his resi-
dence in thgefield, where he ha been
ill for some time with jaundice, Mr.

this city, and he was known to prac-
