weather has set in the motor misses
when running on a level road with the
throttle nearly closed The miss is
more. or less rhythmical occurring
abmt every half minute. The speed
at phich the car travels does not at
foot: the occasional miss. It the throt-
tie is open for a grade or to acceler-
ate the speed there is no miss wt?! to
the motor is pulling. l have given the
carburetor every, possible adjustment
of the high and low speed air, and put
in a large spray noozle No. 57. The
carburetor has a hot air connection,
and I have disconnected the faunas
the motor does not readily warm up
i would appreciate any suggestion
thitt you may offer in your valuable
paper to help me locate this trouble.

spark plug gaps. These should be
about t3" of an inch. it is possible
that the gap is too great Do some
spark plug. ' causing an occasional
miss when running slowly on mass
neto. when motor is accelerated the
curret is more intense and therefore
jumps the gap, causing motor to tire
regularly.
