City Bank whom they charge
with larceny of documcnts, cable-
grams and messages, which, it is
alleged, he turned over to repre—
sentatives of the German govern—
ment.
The documents. the detectives
say, gave information as to
which ships bore ammunitions
acros the seas. Scheindi {is also
allcgd to have given information
to the German representatives as
to what firms were manufactur-
ing war supplies in this country
and also the amounts of money
placed in certain banks to the
credit of the Allies. Schlcindi was
taken to police hcdquarters for
further examination
