of the Lake region and New England.
Pleasant weather has prevailed in
nearly all other districts during the
last twenty-four hours. An extended
area of high pressure is central over
the southern portion of the Lake re»
gion and Ohio Valey. The tempera-
tures are low this morning in all the
northern districts east of the Rocky
Mountains. Frosts were reported from
the Upper Mississippi Valley. the
Lake region and the northern portion
of New York
