will become the bride of David Lewis
Fultz, lawyer, of New York. The cere-
inony will be performed by Rev. J.
Benton Werner at Grace Episcopal
Church and will be largely attended.

arranged for the annual meeting of the
Connecticut Dairyman’ 5 Association,
to be held at Connecticut Agricultural
College, Storrs, Conn, August 10th and
11th. The meeting is public and it is
expected that a large number interest-
ed in this subject, also in the F‘alrfleld
County Farm bureau, will avail them-
selves 01 this exceptional opportunity
to hear addreses by some of the mos

Mrs. Emerson claims that on Nov.
17th, of last year, while walking along
Osborn avenue, ou.the East Side, she
tripped over an Iron tube which pro-
jected above the walk in front of No.
38 several inches. Thrown heavily to
the pavement, Mrs. Emerson suffered
severe injuries to her knees. Her right
clioek'was cut and bruised, and she
has since suffered from a severe ner-
vous shock to her system. Vet-loose
veins, in her legs, have also develop
ed. She required the attentions of a
nurse and doctor during her illness
confined to her bed, and during this
time she claims she spent $200 for
treatment. She holds the city of Nor-
walk responsible for not having the
tube removed and the walk repaired.

It Will be recalled that during sev-
eral sessions of the city council Mrs.
Emerson brought the matter before
the councilmen's attention. Evidently
nothing was done concerning the mat-
ter, and the suit results.
