The regular meeting of the Day
Nursery directors was held Monday,
May 10, at the home of Mrs. Lottie
Munro. The association wishes to
thank all 0! the young people who
took part in the play “Tommy’s
Wife,” so recently given and which
netted the sum of $70.
Owing to lack of work in some of
the factories, many of the mothers
find it very hard to get along. 0th-
ers, through illness, need help. Such
cases may be learned of through the
Nursery and any assistance will be
very welcome.
Nearly 400 children were cared for
during the month of April. The Nur~
sery is in need of more iron cribs,
cereals and vegetables, and the fol-
lowing gifts are gratefully acknowl-
