As is well know a. Secretary Perry is
a member of the House from New
Haven. He will lead the fight against
the bill. Who will lead it in favor is
not yet apparent. Rep. Hough of
washington. one of the able members
of the House, who is chairman of the
Shell Fish commission. is likely to as-
sist Representative Perry.
The fun will come when the measure
reaches the Senate. There Senator
Tuttle's strength in the upper body
might be represented by a big round
naught. or course. he will have some.
support, also, there is likely to be a
large opposition just because Senator
Tuttle favors the’ measure—this on 1 1
general principles.
