As president of the Norwalk dis-
pensary. I would like to pay tribute to
our staff of physicians, who are so
nobly giving of their knowledge and
time to relieve the sick poor of this
my. .
One branch of their professional
work especially donning of mention,
is the treatment of adenoids and
throat troubles in children. for which
opuationa are pertained in our own
dispgiaary, sometimes no or three
cases a week, thus giving health to\
many a poor; child, who otherwise
might go through life hampered in
mind and body.
We invite and urge the public to.
visit often the dispensary. where they
may find deserving cases of interest,
and where the nurse is ailways Willing
and ready to explain the work of the
dispensary.

a most satisfactory manner.
During the year, there were 1,217
patients treated at the dispensary, an
increase of 313 over the previous
year. Through our efforts twenty-four
patients sulering from tuberculosis,
were sent to the sanatoriurn at Shel-
ton. for treatment.
The dispensary not only furnished
the patients with the services of the
