it was reported Mr. Logic would not
become connected with the Third Dis-
irict station.
Mr. Reynolds, the new engineer, is
an East Side young man and popular.
He has been employed by the district
since the start of the new plant about
three months ago. His experience
with the running of the gas engines
and machinery of the new plans is
such that his management of this
end of tile station should be success-
ful. The work of the superintendent
will be looked after by the district
commissioners until the. time comes

United States aeroplane corps was call-
ed to the telephone.

“I‘m Colonel (‘arrington I've called
you up to say that Jack is anxious to
go up with you for a flight."

The colonel was laboring under a de;

quarters and was familiar with his
family. The truth was that the lien-
tenant had never been at headquarters
long enough to make their acquaint-
