the telephone it is now possible (or a
resident or New York or Boston to call
i up San Francisco and hold a conversa-
; tion over the wire. This long distance
call 1 more than 3.600 miles was open-
ed January 25:11. by Dr. Alexander Gra-
ham Bell, inventor of the telephone.

all been developed especially tor the
