John Nesbit Burns.
John Nesbit Burns died at his home,
3 Jefferson avenue, Danbury, Tuesday
night, after a protracted and painful
illness. Mr. Burns, who was in the
sixty-sixth year of his age. was amas-
ter painter and went to Danbury about
thirty years ago to engage in that busi-
ness. He was an expert workman and
possessed exceptional ability as a de-
corator and sign painter. His many
friends and business acquaintances in
this city recognized his integrity and
good citizensihp.
Mr. Burns is survived by his wife
and by four children, Gilbert. Burns
and Miss Emily Burns, of Danhury;
John Burns. of Norwalk, and William
Burns, of Baltimore, Md.
The funeral services will be held at
the. late home, on ‘Friday afternoon, at
one/o'clock. The interment will be in
Wooster cemetery, Danbury.
