day afternoon on the lawn of Miss
Ada iietts‘ home in Newtown avenue,
and a goodly number was present. A
general discussion of bird topics fol-
lowed the reading of a paper by Game
Warden Wilbur F. Smith. it was
noted by him that considerable inter.
est and comment have been provoked
through the unusual appearance of
sea gulls in the Norwalk waters from
the middle of May up to the present
time. Scientific treatises on the sen
gull state that they do not habitats
in this locality in the summer and the
observations showing that specie in
the. waters here ha's set the members
guessing.
