Rev. Mr, Egbert‘s two daughters are
Smith College students and with their?
father enjoy the tennis courts in Pal
isodo avenue. and the boating on the
Farmington River. A correspondent
at The Sentinel sends the following

many Norwalh people. as it concerns
Rev. Mr, Egbert. iormerly oi" the First
(.‘ongregutional.L‘hurch of Norwalk.
This is the second summer that ’ Mr.
Eébert and'iainiiy bale boarded for
their \acati'on at (Old) Windsor.
There are several of the members 01
Mr. l'lgbert‘s congregation while he
was in Norwalk, who have their
homes in Windsor. There are also
several others in Hartford, who are
pleased to know that Mr. Egbert is to
preach next Sunday. August 9, at this
old historic church. This old church
north of the histéric covered bridge
on the state road to Springfield from
Hartford. There is, no pleasanter
trolley ride than up this road' past
this church, and about one mile above
is the old Bissells Fairy across theI
Connecticut River, Just above the
ferry is the Judge 0.iver Ellsworth
Home now owned and hep! up by the
Daughters of the American Revolu-
tion of Connecticut This house is
filled with old historic furniture and
many old curios. There are mnnl'
visitors here daily. Then on up
through Windsor Locks and through
Sumeld to Springfield are many old1
historic homes. Across the Palisade:
