bonds each. (in the evening of April
21 it is a‘leged. the men entered the

Farms and took a horse and wagon
owned by Miss Bunnell. The theft
was reported to Deputy Sheriff H. R.
Elwood, who sent out a description
of the rig. Tile police of Rye, N. ‘i'.,
noticed the strangers with the horse
the next morning and placed them
under arrest, They “were placed in
the White Plains lockup and remained
.there until \\’erinesday. when Sheriff
l;El-wood with extradition papers, went
ithere and brought them back here

both men are professional horse
thieves as note books they carried
showed that they had recorded the
sale of many horses. Bank books
were also found in their possession.
